Waste Management Solutions have been awarded a new contract with a
major UK retailer for the supply and maintenance of 40 shop balers. The
new machines will be delivered and installed over the next six months.
Niall Smith Operation’s Director at WMS commented that while we do not
manufacture our own machines the total package we can offer which
includes delivery, full maintenance, training and the supply of all
consumables linked with our baled waste collection service and account
management reports is what more and more customers are seeking.

Simon Paramore has joined the existing sales team at WMS and Lynwood Rentals as Sales Executive. Simon will be responsible for the development of new business in the Midlands area and as support for the management of existing accounts. Mike Russell Sales Director commented that Simon’s appointment is an excellent addition to the already experienced sales team.
Due to the continued growth of the company Mandy Skidmore has also joined WMS as Sales Administrator.

New addition to the WMS Fleet |

Waste Management Solutions have taken delivery of their new 18 tonne curtain side vehicle, this additional vehicle will increase the commercial fleet to three vehicles and will enable WMS to collect more off their customers material direct. Niall Smith, WMS Operations Director commented “We use carefully selected companies as partners for collections but we are always looking at ways to improve our customer service and our own fleet of collection vehicles will give us more flexibility and a quicker response time." |

WMS awarded Holland & Barrett contract |
Waste Management Solutions are to supply Holland & Barrett (the largest supplier of health supplements in the UK) with a new WMS 6000 horizontal baler for the baling of their cardboard on a three year rental contract.WMS already supply Holland & Barrett with a vertical baling press at their distribution centre in Burton. As part of the contract WMS will also supply full maintenance and operator training. |

Due to continued growth in 2007 WMS have recruited Jennifer Lowe to work in the collections and customer services department.

ISO accreditation at the first attempt |
WMS have just obtained ISO (International Standards Organisation) 9001 accreditation for it's Waste Management Services. The scope of registration covers the Collection, Processing and Brokering of recyclable material.
